Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Rise AI account and your associated data, and what happens to that data afterwards.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — In the app

Open the Rise AI app and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and associated data are scheduled for deletion immediately after you confirm.

Option 2 — By email

Send a deletion request from the email address linked to your Rise AI account to:

riseailabs@gmail.com

Include the email address used for your account. We verify ownership, then process the request. We respond within 7 days and complete deletion as described below.

What data is deleted

When you request deletion, we permanently remove:

Account information (name, email address)
Health and fitness data (workouts, activity, goals, progress, body metrics, preferences)
Photos you uploaded for food, barcode, or progress analysis
AI coaching history and in-app content tied to your account

What data may be retained, and for how long

Data type	Retention
Account & health/fitness data	Deleted within 30 days of the verified request
Encrypted backups	Purged within 90 days
Subscription / transaction records (handled by Apple & Google)	Retained only as required by law and tax/accounting obligations
Anonymous, non-identifiable usage & crash data	May be retained as it is no longer linked to you

Note: subscriptions are managed by the App Store / Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your store account settings.
